ZERO DE CONDUITE- an anarchic portrayal of rebellion in a boarding school - was banned for years after its release! Jean Vigo based it on his own experiences but infused it with a dreamy surrealism. The film has inspired many homages from directors like Francois Truffaut and Lindsay Anderson. Don't miss your chance to see this influential film on 16mm, featuring a contextual talk by Professor James Cahill! Feb. 9, at 6pm. Info & tix: http://go.utlib.ca/popup2
