A regal, resplendent celebration of the stories told in the stars, featuring the iconic 1896 Zodiac lithograph by Art Nouveau artist Alphonse Mucha. Mucha’s beloved work features a majestic woman surrounded by the by the 12 zodiac signs and adorned in intricate celestial jewellery. added a large star to her remarkable crown. The background comes from an incredible ink-on-silk scroll painting by Ueno Setsugaku, created in the 1860’s. They trimmed this design with Mucha’s zodiac signs on a deep burgundy background. The result is an opulent and elegant take on Mucha’s work, with a nod to the luxe bohemianism of the 1970’s. ✨

This piece is a tribute to the indomitable, heart-centred spirit of women in art! This stunning piece features one of very favourite paintings — artist Artemisia Gentileschi’s self-portrait — surrounded by lushly painted forest landscapes, birds, and butterflies. Gentileschi was an artistic genius from the 1600’s — outspoken and brilliant — who made a living as an artist during a time when few women did. In a letter to one of her wealthy patrons (who questioned her abilities) she famously wrote, “My illustrious lordship, I’ll show you what a woman can do.” We think what a woman can do is nothing short of marvellous ✨💃🏻

Vibrant and luxurious. These super cool pants combine two different French textile prints from the 1800’s, featuring florals and pheasants. For a whimsical flourish, added the image of a pair of embroidered French velvet slippers and a Parisian fan, both circa 1900.

This beautiful, one-of-a-kind print features rare antique flower and foliage photographs, and a captivating portrait of Alice Liddell (the girl who inspired Lewis Carroll to write Alice in Wonderland), taken when Liddell grew up. The portrait was done in 1872 by influential photographer Julia Margaret Cameron, who photographed Liddell many times during her life. We chose this grown-up image of Liddell — rather than a younger one— since we are firm believers that though we all get older, we can always return to Wonderland no matter our age ;)
The moon in our design comes from a historic 1800’s photo taken by the Harvard Observatory, and the star trim (including the trim on Alice’s collar) comes from a fragment of wallpaper from the same era.

All of their pieces are limited edition and ethically produced.
