We’re grateful to the team at for their partnership and support this spring πŸ’›

Through their April Karma Classes, Mosaic Yoga raised $245 in support of women and their families in our community. Beyond the funds, they helped amplify our work and connect their vibrant studio community to the broader community across Toronto.

Mosaic Yoga is a thriving movement community with locations in Bloordale and the Annex, and we’re inspired by their commitment to giving backβ€”raising funds and awareness for a different local nonprofit each month.

At Working Women Community Centre, we exist to help women and their families begin the next chapter of their lives in Toronto. Over the last 50 years, we have supported over 500,000 women and their families through a full range of services, including newcomer settlement, education, language, food security, and beyond. By supporting women, we enable them to build their capacity so that they can be active participants and contributors to their communities.

Thank you, Mosaic Yoga, for being part of this workβ€”because when women thrive, communities rise.

As we wrap up Volunteer Appreciation Week, we’re taking a moment to reflect on where leadership truly lives β€” in the care, presence, and commitment of our volunteers.
In our final blog, Where Leadership Lives: Honouring the Care and Commitment of Our Volunteers, we celebrate community members who show up week after week to create welcoming, supportive spaces for newcomer women and their families as they begin the next chapter of their lives in Toronto.
To every volunteer who leads with heart: thank you for strengthening our community. When women thrive, communities rise.
