Humber's tenth annual Global Game Jam (GGJ) event is just over a week away!

GGJ is a 48-hour event where you collaborate with others to create fun and innovative game prototypes based on a mystery theme. The best thing about it? It's a great way to meet and work with students from different programs! Register by 11:59 pm on Tuesday, January 21 to participate.

A recap from last week's Skills Ontario! Second-year 3D Animation student Matthew Redwood won the gold medal in the 3D Digital Game Art category. ✨

Matthew competed in 2023 and won bronze in the same category. With the feedback he received from this experience and guidance from our faculty, Matthew was able to come back this year with a stronger set of skills! Fast forward a few more weeks: Matthew will be representing Team Ontario and at Skills Canada in Quebec City at the end of this month.

Congratulations to Matthew on this great achievement!

Our Interaction Design Cluster Showcase is fast approaching!

The event kicks off on Thursday, April 11 at 5 pm with speakers covering a range of interaction design and emerging technology topics. A networking experience will follow, allowing attendees and students to connect and win prizes.
