Join us on Wednesday, July 9 at Fort York Historic Site for an evening of Art in the Park, great music, and a film screening of Project Wild Thing! Brought to you by the Homegrown National Park of the David Suzuki Foundation, this event will begin with a drop-in session of Art in the Park at 6:00pm, where you are invited to come draw, paint, and sculpt some of the amazing cityscapes within and beyond this historic site while the Toronto instrumentalist group Battle of Santiago plays! There will be food and drinks, all-you-can-eat marshmallows by the campfire, and when the sun goes down, a film screening of Project Wild Thing on a 40-foot screen.

This free and open event to the public brings together community members and community groups who can tell you more about how you can help bring nature home to the city.

For more information, check out the David Suzuki Foundation Facebook event page.

For art-making, bring your blankets or foldable chairs to sit on, your favourite art supplies (optional - as we provide supplies), yourselves and your loved ones!

Looking forward to seeing you on July 9th!
