Sensory Integration ( Jean Ayer & Willberger’s Protocol)within Early Intervention method is an innovative way to deal with problem behaviours for the children with Autism, ADHD , delayed development cases and help to develop necessay core skills . Its a great way to spend a quality time in between parents and kids . I was wondering if parents are aware and implying in the daily life of a person with sensory need challange . Sensory -Motor coordination is utmost important to function in our daily life . Even a tiniest fraction may cause disruption . It requires professional help or very structured and close observation to figure out the nature of the sensory need which usually impact coordinated motor function .

I would recommend the COC team to explore this more with the parents . For any future event , please involve more prents voice then others . Its really not important to know whole bunch of story ... instead discussing parents burning question and taking realstic measures to accomplisg a goal towards a short term one . We all need to work together to reduce anxiety and stress , need to find a way to provide relief the parents regardless of funding constraint . There are alternatives of funding constraints . Unity , honesty kindness , patience , education on navigating the system are more important then speculate the far future .

I have started working with this population in Bangladesh for the first time in 2004 and introduced this treatment strategy being an Occupational Therapist in Bangladesh . I have learned and experienced that this strategy provide a lot of input and scientifically proven ( Randomized Control Trial ) .

At present I am still experiencing that Sensory stimulation is so much meaningful and help a person a lot theraputicaly .

There is no alrernative of developing life skill training to help a person get independent within his or her environment and context as early as possible incongruate with developmental age not chonological age .

Please remember : First take care yoursel so you can takecare of ur loved one . Parents are devoting their life ... great ! But you must need to recharge urself .

Another amazing weekend for my clients . One came to mosque for firstime in life ,others enjoed out in the nieghbourhood community center . Thanks to my well wishers who took time to visit my page and helping us grow .
