One of the best perks of working at the ROM is getting to know all the other fab departments. Mycology is super fascinating. 🍄 🍄‍🟫

Career Update

I’m pleased to share that after several rewarding years working on contract at the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM), I have accepted a permanent position in the Conservation Department.

My time at the ROM has allowed me to engage with the preservation of some truly remarkable artifacts, working alongside colleagues who share a passion for protecting our cultural heritage. I’m grateful for the experiences I’ve had and the trust the museum has placed in me.

I look forward to continuing this important work in a permanent capacity and embracing the new challenges and opportunities ahead.

While I will be continuing my private conservation practice, it will be at a much reduced workload.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout this journey.

There’s something very satisfying about the mini treatments. This lovely Porrazo del Tigre festival figurine looks much happier with his ear tip restored.
