What corruption...

officer Elias Mouawad has just received a conditional discharge for taking part in the Ryan Wedding Drug network, with the possibility that he can keep his job pending the decision of a police tribunal.

A message needs to be sent through the courts that any police connections with organized crime won't be tolerated. This sentencing is so light that it will promote further recruitment into organized crime. If no one is being held accountable, we are giving the police free rein to continue their abuse of power and criminal misconduct towards us.

The horrors of police oversight in Manitoba.

An investigation conducted by the Investigative Journalism Foundation (IJF) found that only 2% of police involved deaths in Manitoba, investigated by the Independent Investigation Unit (IIU), have resulted in an arrest since 2015. Witnesses and family members close to the victims have stated that the IIU has withheld key information and used deceptive investigation tactics to cover up any police wrongdoing. Families of the deceased are given no support, no information, and are forced to wait extended periods of time before they're given any closure regarding the death of their loved ones.

Police oversight bodies have to be held accountable for the crimes they cover up, and information, such as police officers' names, need to be made public as part of their investigations.

Two Montreal police officers have been suspended after a report surfaced that an officer was urinating on an unhoused person.
Montreal police are now urinating on and degrading the homeless in their continued war against the racialized and vulnerable communities that they've sworn to serve and protect. The Montreal police currently have an $860 million-a-year budget with an additional $67.9 million billed for overtime in 2026. At what point in time do we start redistributing these funds and give something back to the poverty-stricken people who are being terrorized and abused?

The family members of 15-year-old Nooran Rezayi, who was fatally shot by Quebec police in 2025 have managed to get the Quebec Superior court to release the names of the officers involved in his killing.

Police accountability is one of the biggest issues in Canadian law enforcement. Provincial policing oversight bodies have far too often covered up the names of their murdering police officers; without this transparency, the public can't keep the police accountable or question the findings of their investigations.

Silencers are used to kill people discreetly, not for self-defence. officer Nasser Gholami was arrested on September 24th, 2026 for smuggling silencers into the country, possibly to hand over to a guns-for-hire network or to kill someone himself. There needs to be a real investigation into Gholami and the Toronto Police Service's involvement with gun trafficking and murder.

The police are shooting people in the streets and beating them down when they get arrested. They're in the news daily for the horrific crimes they commit against the communities they claim to serve. The police don't need protection; they need accountability.

It is estimated that more than 150,000 First Nations, Inuit and Metis children were separated from their families and forced into residential schools over much of the last century. A list of 2 800 names of children who died in residential schools exists; it's estimated that 1 600 students who lost their lives at residential schools remain nameless.

Here is a list of known indigenous victims who have died at the hands of police, security, or while in custody in 2026. May they all rest in peace.

Elias Mouawad is involved in the Ryan Wedding criminal network; he worked for Daljit Singh (also charged in Project South) before being hired as a Toronto Police officer. He was groomed for the position so he could carry out crimes, such as unauthorized computer searches, for the criminal network investigated in Project South.

On September 28th, 2026, the court heard Mouawad's guilty plea and the Crown wasn't even asking that he spend any time in prison. Mouawad shouldn't be getting away with his role in the Project South criminal network without doing any prison time. Everyone in that courtroom should be investigated for corruption after such an unlawful trial.
