Copy of email received from ERSB - updated garbage collection
Southern Shore –
• Collections originally scheduled for July 21 and 22 will now take place on Saturday, July 25. In order to ensure all residents receive service 5 bag limit will be collected.
• July 29th, reported missed collections and recycling will be collected
• Collections originally scheduled for July 28 will occur on July 30
• Collections originally scheduled for July 29 will occur on July 31
• Collection schedules for the following weeks, including recycling collection, are currently being finalized. Updated schedules will be posted on the ERSB website and distributed through Voyent Alert! as soon as they are available.
• Eastern Regional Service Board (ERSB) would like to thank residents and businesses for their patience and understanding during this service disruption. An interim agreement has been reached with an experienced waste collection contractor that has a proven track record of delivering reliable service.
• As the contractor becomes familiar with the affected communities and collection routes, we ask for your continued patience. If you experience any collection issues, please report them to ERSB, [email protected], or 877.878.2166 as soon as possible so they can be addressed promptly and efficiently.
• Residents are also encouraged to review ERSB's waste collection guidelines, including bag limits and clear bag requirements, to help ensure smooth and efficient service.

Recycling Pickup Notification_Southern Shore Update

Please be advised that due to a collector error, some recycling was not collected on May 28. As this was an isolated incident and not a system-wide issue, specific affected locations cannot be identified. Any missed recycling will be collected on June 4 in the following communities: Mobile, Tors Cove, Burnt Cove-St. Michael’s-Bauline South, Brigus South, La Manche, Cape Broyle, Admiral’s Cove, Calvert, Ferryland, Aquaforte, Fermeuse-Kingman’s Cove, Renews-Cappahayden, Portugal Cove South, Biscay Bay, and St. Shotts.

We apologize for confusion and any inconvenience caused.

TCLS Update
Most all invoices for 2026 have been issued. Possible items remaining is buy/sale of a property, name or address changes, etc.
Next is updating property owner’s account with the payments received during February, March and April (an average 75 to 100 emails a month along with other payment types).
Some of you may have receive a statement of account that does not reflect these payments. Be assured your account will be updated.
