Today we want to introduce, as part of our Aquila Unlocked program, Ash Everton.

In his own words:

“Hey! My name’s Ash, and I’ve been riding bikes for as many years as I can remember. I started racing 2 years ago in Montreal, QC, and have loved it ever since! Nothing beats the feeling of wind in your hair and the beautiful views riding takes you to.”

We’re happy to have Ash on board and want to wish him good luck at the Grand Prix Cycliste de Charlevoix.

The 2015 Pan Am Games brought the pro peloton straight to our everyday training climbs in High Park. Anyone riding the park before 2015 remembers how rough those roads were—we can thank this event for the smooth tarmac we still train on today.

Our sponsored athlete, Sean MacKinnon, rode for the Canadian national team, taking 3rd in the time trial aboard our Crono TT bike.

For the road race, he was on a custom-painted Team Canada Equipe R, driving the pace at the front for Guillaume Boivin, who ended up taking 3rd on the day (and later took 9th at the 2021 Paris-Roubaix).

Seeing him compete at that level on our home roads and on our bikes was unreal, and it was great to see everyone come out to support our athletes.

Something faster is coming. Built for roads that matter.

Most bikes are built for a spreadsheet. Yours is built for you.

We don’t do stock specs. Don’t do “one size fits most.” Zero compromise.

You pick the drivetrain. You pick the wheels. You pick the cockpit. Every detail locked in before your frame hits the stand. Your name on the build sheet. Your bike. Your rules.

That’s the difference between buying a bike and choosing one.

James Mizerski heads up the mechanical side for Aquila. A second-generation mechanic with a decade of experience and advanced Shimano certifications, he knows how to dial in a high-performance bike. He keeps it straightforward, making sure every build that leaves his stand runs exactly the way it should.
