Darlington Care Foundation Updates!

We're thrilled to share some exciting news with you!

The Darlington Care Foundation was founded on March 20, 2022, by a humanitarian in Min. Karnley as a way to give back to his homeland on his 48th birthday. Our mission is to support vulnerable groups, including children, older people, and disadvantaged youth.

We're delighted to announce that we've positively impacted our community by providing over 1,000,000 LD in support. including:

Scholarships
Micro-loans
Food distributions
Medical assistance

Congratulations Leo!!

Today, we're thrilled to celebrate with Leo Gibson Jr, as he graduates from high School. Leo, is one of the several students that have been aided by our CEO, in Min. Darlington Karnley throughout his educational journey. He's a volunteer of the organization. He's one of those working tirelessly in making sure we identify kids who are really in need of opportunity to go to school.

Exciting News!!

Greetings Everyone,

We're excited to announce that we have made huge increment in the number of students on our organization scholarship program. It can be recalled that on July 28 of this year, we made a post on this same page about increment for this academic year.
We currently have hundred and fifty (150) students on a fully funded scholarship. At three different high schools. Namely: Dorcas School of Excellence, Heart of Wutee, and Janet Academy. While we are also aiding over hundreds of students at several Government Schools across Margibi County and it environs. With registration fees, uniforms and other school going materials. Our goal for education is to have all kids get access to quality education and reduce drop-out rate.

Recently, some parents While receiving their children uniforms with excitement expressed serious thanks and appreciation to the CEO for such a distinct opportunity given to their kids.

Min Karnley in returned said to them " I'm so grateful to the almighty God who has blessed me to be a blessing to these kids. I'm so overwhelmed to be able to touch lives in many different ways. He stated. In a joyful mood! The CEO futher stated that the number of requests from parents give him an immediate recollections of his struggling days in Liberia. Marred by displacements, hunger, and many human rights violations. Leaving your home in search of basic necessities like food, shelter and clothing. I understand the hardship in Liberia very well."

"However, I have been reliably informed by some members of the Organization and the schools administrators that some parents are deliberately refusing to take their kids to school in time.
Hence, I have set up a
team of inspectors headed by Mrs. Janet Madave to begin inspection tomorrow, on campuses where our students are attending to make sure that they're in
school.
We will later take an action on those students who refused to go to school because of their parents own negligence by replacing them with kids who are disparately in need.

On September 17, this year, we also made a donation of ten (10) bags of cement to one of our sisters name ( withheld) who house got burned.

Min Karnley however noted that in the upcoming days the Organization will introduce a vocational training program for parents. Upon their graduation from these vocational institutions he will start with a micro- loan to enable them start small businesses."

Their hard work and dedication have paid off, and I'm sure they are excited for the next chapter in their educational journey. Wishing them continued success in all their future endeavors!
