March 29, 2026, matagumpay na naisagawa ang pagdiriwang ng National Women's Month sa Barangay Amunitan Gymnasium sa pamamagitan ng inisyatiba ng Sangguniang Kabataan, katuwang ang VAWC Desk sa pangunguna ni Brgy. Kagawad Fe B. Calipdan at ang RIC sa pamumuno ni Mrs. HERLine Gonzaga bilang Pangulo, at buong pusong sinuportahan ng Barangay Council sa pangunguna ni Punong Barangay Norman Gonzaga.

Isinagawa ang makabuluhang Seminar on Gender Empowerment for Women sa pangunguna ni Mrs. Rizzalou Garma at ang Seminar on the Safe Spaces Act or Republic Act No. 11313 (Bawal Bastos Law) sa pangunguna ni PMSg. Kylie Angelique Dones.

Naging mas masigla rin ang selebrasyon sa pamamagitan ng Zumba Dance ng lahat ng kalahok, pamamahagi ng munting token para sa ating mga kababaihan, at raffle draw na nagbigay saya at pagkakataong manalo sa ating mga dumalo.

Sa sama-samang pagkilos, ipinakita natin na ang kababaihan ay mahalaga, may boses, at may kapangyarihan sa ating komunidad. Maraming salamat sa lahat ng nakiisa at sumuporta sa gawaing ito.

March 8, 2026 | Monthly Clean-Up Drive

The SK Officials, together with the Kitipunan ng Kabataan (KK) of Purok 7, conducted a Clean-Up Drive at the Seawall in Amunitan, Gonzaga, Cagayan. This activity aimed to promote cleanliness, environmental awareness, and unity among the youth and community.

Through the cooperation of the volunteers, the area was cleaned and properly maintained, helping create a safer and healthier environment for everyone.

The SK also extends their sincere thanks to all KK members who participated and supported the activity.

SK Night Pammadayaw 2025 was held last December 25, 2025.

The event was organized by the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Amunitan, led by SK Chairman Hon. Reden Lapeña together with the SK officials. It was a night dedicated to recognizing the talents, achievements, and hard work of the youth who continue to make the community proud.

Guided by the theme “Diwa ng Tagumpay: Pagpupugay sa Natatangi,” the program became a joyful and meaningful celebration of unity and appreciation, honoring the youth and their valuable contributions to the barangay.

This coming December 25. 2025, the second wave of school supplies distribution for the Junior High School students of the Kabataang Katipunan (KK) of Amunitan will be organized and led by the SK officials of Barangay Amunitan.
