Last March 27–30, ILead Academy 3.0 at USTP Claveria Campus, Misamis Oriental became more than just an event it became a space where leadership was discovered, challenged, and truly lived. USG Officers, together with their moderator, Mr. Juvel Enayo Lapornina, actively participated in the academy, embracing every opportunity to learn, lead, and grow. Every moment carried lessons that go beyond the program itself.

The University Student Government extends its warmest wishes to Samantha Nicole Q. Tanallon from the Department of Food Processing Technology and Glizy Mae M. Abarquez from Department of Technology and Livelihood Education as they travel tomorrow to Cagayan de Oro for the Learning Express Program.

Your journey begins with the Design Thinking Workshop on March 20–21, followed by the Learning Express (LEX) Program on March 23 to April 3. May this experience equip you with valuable insights, skills, and meaningful connections that will inspire both personal and academic growth.

The University Student Government President, Mr. Evan John S. Dago-oc recently appointed the new Chairperson of the Electoral Commission(ELECOM) for the Academic Year 2026-2027.

The new ELECOM Chairperson of USTP-Oroquieta is Ms. Cheny Lou T. Vibar.

The University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines in Oroquieta, Misamis Occidental (USTP Oroquieta) successfully held the USTP-DBM Region X Budget Forum 2026 on February 23-24, 2026 at the Library Hall, USTP Oroquieta. The two-day forum was organized as a proactive initiative of the university to strengthen budget preparation, ensure fiscal discipline, and align institutional priorities for Fiscal Year 2027 with national development goals.

📌ATTENTION USTP OROQUIETA STUDENTS!

In reference to the Campus Director 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨 𝐍𝐨. 𝟎𝟐 𝐬. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 and in preparation for the 𝗗𝗕𝗠 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗫 𝗕𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙂𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙢𝙚𝙣 announces a Mandatory General Cleaning Activity (DO Day) on 𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟮𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 (Friday), from 𝟏:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌 𝐭𝐨 𝟓:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌 (Half Day).

📝 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀:

• Attendance will be strictly monitored by the USG and will be considered an essential part of campus involvement.
• Students are granted a dress code exemption for this activity. You may enter campus without wearing the prescribed uniform, provided that you wear comfortable, appropriate cleaning attire.
• Cleaning assignments will be implemented per section under designated officers-in-charge.
• All sections must bring cleaning materials applicable to their assigned areas.
• Sections are also required to bring floor wax as instructed by their respective advisers.
• All collected waste must be properly segregated and disposed of in designated disposal areas.
• Full participation is expected to help ensure a clean, safe, and conducive learning environment in preparation for upcoming campus activities.
🧹 Cleaning Tasks Include:
✔ Sweeping floors and hallways
✔ Mopping classrooms, laboratories, and corridors
✔ Emptying trash bins
✔ Removing cobwebs and dust
✔ Wiping tables, chairs, windows, and boards
✔ Proper garbage segregation and disposal
✔ Cleaning assigned grounds and surroundings

These developments included the formalization of a system-wide partnership through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on January 26, 2026, and the accreditation of USTP Oroquieta as a TESDA Assessment Center on February 4, 2026.
