As part of Commemorative activities marking the celebration of the National youth day celebrated under the theme: Youth at the Heart of great Hopes, for a united, stable and prosperous Cameroon. Some youths in the Bamenda two municipality are attending a professional certification program on entrepreneurship, Business management and Marketing organized by the Executive Bureau of the Cameroon National Youth Council for Bamenda two (II) in partnership with the Agency for the Promotion of Small and Medium size Enterprises (APME). This ties with the head of states vision for youths to be Entrepreneurs, self employed and with his vision for the renewed septennate for Youths and women.

As part of Commemorative Activities marking the Celebra of the 60th Anniversary of the Youth Day in Bamenda II Subdivision, The Cameroon National Youth Council for Bamenda two (II) in Partnership with the Agency for the promotion of Small and Medium Size Enterprises (APME) is organizing a FREE Professional Certified Training (BOOTCAMP) on Entrepreneurship, Business Management and Marketing for Youths within the Municipality.

This will help Boast the productivity of existing Businesses and Youth Startups and as well give a clear pathway to youths who wish to Create a Business.

In my Capacity as president of the Cameroon National Youth Council - CNYC Bamenda II Bureau I am coordinating consultations for the revision of the National Youth policy in my Municipality. This revised National Youth Policy will serve as a comprehensive framework for empowering young people, ensuring their well-being and unlocking their potential to drive national development, this policy will take into consideration Disability and inclusion, Gender equality and empowerment, Rural and marginalized youth, Indigenous and minority youth, Youth in conflict and post-conflict zones.

The revised National Policy will capture our experiences, challenges, and aspirations. Our collective input will ensure that our efforts are inclusive and comprehensive, addressing the diverse issues that young people face across our beloved country. Crucially, it will guide us in our consultative and intermediary role, and also help the Government develop inclusive programs that truly reflect our needs, aspirations, and dreams.

This initiative reflects our commitment to ensuring that every youth’s voice is heard and valued.
