but what is the true apothecary to these troubling ailments. We believe that to change a man’s mind state is to change his estate. Several entrepreneurial NGO’s have come up to train youths at related concerns, training them on how to use their professional know how to be solutions to actual problems in society… to not just search for opportunities but be able to create opportunities for themselves and other youths. These are revolutionary 21st century ideas that will alleviate poverty and unemployment; but sometimes it is very difficult to bring these youths to Conferences where they could get this info, so instead, we choose to bring the info to the youths to meet them in their classrooms, workplaces and churches. In a bid to inspire and motivate youths to dream beyond their means and plunge into action their incredible aspirations, we intend to challenge them with an entrepreneurial step-out-and-change-Cameroon mentality; a mind set our magazine and other activities are designed to develop over time.

2. WHO WE ARE

We are a Christian Inspirational and Entrepreneurial Organization that is raising a Generation of Brand New Cameroonian Minds, who will in turn bring about the development and emergence our country hopes to see. We were operational from April of 2016… and so we are just 5 months old… but the accomplishments have been amazing…



3. WHAT WE DO

Strawacademy, a new Association, fosters National and Economic Development by instilling the Entrepreneurial Mindset in the Minds of Cameroonian Youths and Adults by one of the following means:

• Bi-monthly inspirational Summits... organized by the Stawteam to train people on Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Christian Patriotism. We mentor them as they create Startups and seek funding for their growth.
• We provide Inspirational Content to the Telecommunication Companies MTN and Orange… so they disseminate to the public and cause this Paradigm Shift
• We do Inspirational Magazines like… Inspire Me
• We carryout Inspirational, Entrepreneurial and Leadership Trainings in several Organisations
• We institute Strawacademy Inspirational Clubs in Schools within Higher Institutions of learning all over the nation.
• Our Inspirational Radio Program… ‘Inspire Me’
We do consultancy for startup businesses
We parter with Educational Institutions to build Inspirational Clubs and Business Incubators
• We produce inspiring Videos, Audios, Slams and Music
• We also do Charity and Community Development Projects. Using all of the above platforms we have impacted an estimated 10,000 people within and without Cameroon over the past 5 months…



4. OUR HISTORY

It is just amazing how much this organization has been able to accomplish in just 5 months of existence… this academy has impacted close to 2,000 Cameroonian youths and adults, leading to the creation of 5 virgin incubatory startup businesses. Inspired by the Holy Ghost, Strawacademy was created by Mac Alunge in April of 2016. The association is currently made up of 40 active members. At Strawacademy, we believe that entrepreneurship is 10% production and 90% marketing. We do not recommend requesting for funding for startups; we recommend intensive market creation from where we are with what we have. When the market is well created and there is a proven need for expansion, then that is when we can license a startup to request for funding.

We journey towards a peaceful, prosperous, entrepreneurial, Holy Ghost- filled Cameroon; a developed Cameroon

ii. Dream (What we desire to accomplish)
To impact youths and adults all over the nation and around the world the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and the atypical 21st century leadership and entrepreneurial mind-set and skills so they can experience divinity of spirit, soul and body as well as prosperity as individuals and as a nations. Vision (How we are going to get there)
Inspiring a paradigm shift (change in thinking pattern) in the mind of the average Cameroonian youth and adult, from the age-old government-dependent school-to-job mentality, to a more leadership-entrepreneurial, government-independent and innovation-driven system of thought, using the Word of God as a foundation

iv. Mission (Why the venture)
We believe in the pulling vision God has shown us; this venture has been inspired by Him. Our only motivation is to do that which God has called us to do; to fulfill our earthly assignment and make a difference in the process. v. Assignment (What to do when we get there)
Our assignment stands to mentor young aspiring leaders in whatever fields they choose, especially as entrepreneurs, walk them through their journey to prosperity in the light of God’s Word. vi. Resources (What we need for this journey)
