Over 30 representatives from multinational companies in the UK, Germany, Japan and beyond recently visited Minhang for site visits and discussions on investment and industrial cooperation.
The delegation toured the Hongqiao International Talent Center, Greater Zero Bay Sci-Tech Innovation Exhibition Hall, Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Research Institute, Commercial Aerospace Rocket Star City Exhibition Hall and Sieyuan Electric, exploring Minhang's "One South, One North" strategic layout and modern industrial system.

As an important part of the Multinational Enterprises Shanghai Visit, Jing’an designed a tour route connecting century-old Shikumen architecture with "Audio-Visual Jing’an" and "Beauty & Innovation Jing’an". 🥳🥳🥳 A number of high-quality collaborative projects and intentions were reached during a promotion event for multinational enterprises held in Shanghai on 17 Sep, which is expected to further consolidate Shanghai's position as a highland for attracting global capital. More than 220 entrepreneurs and representatives of industry organizations and investment institutions from 24 countries and regions attended the meeting. The major partnerships secured cover a diverse range of areas, from multinational corporate headquarters to technology innovation platforms and manufacturing bases.

🤩👏On September 18, over 220 entrepreneurs and representatives from industry organizations and investment institutions across 24 countries and regions set off along seven routes to visit , 'an, , , , and District. They explored key parks, leading enterprises and innovation platforms to experience Shanghai's industrial momentum and service support firsthand.
The seven routes align with Shanghai's "2+3+6+6" modern industrial system, covering pioneering, emerging pillar and future industries, alongside innovation ecosystems and urban services — showcasing the city's strengths in sci-tech innovation, industrial clusters and enterprise growth support.

The Pudong Inspection and Exchange Visit successfully held at Zhangjiang Science City. Delegations comprising multinational corporations, industry associations and professional institutions from the UK, Germany, France, Japan, South Korea and other countries came for the site visit. They toured Zhangjiang AI Innovation Town, Zhangjiang Pharma Valley and Zhangjiang Robotics Valley, and held practical business talks with local authorities. The visitors highly acknowledged Pudong’s sound business environment and strong industrial capabilities.
As a frontier of China’s opening-up, Pudong is home to 28,000 foreign-invested enterprises, 346 Fortune Global 500 companies, 509 regional headquarters of multinationals and 304 foreign-funded R&D centers. 🚀 Honeywell Technologies China Innovation Center is now open in Zhangjiang, Pudong, Shanghai.
It is Honeywell Technologies’ first China innovation platform since becoming independent in June 2026, and houses the first newly built HTEC globally. 🤩👏🥳On September 1, the Shanghai Municipal Investment Promotion Center and the Greater Geneva Bern area (GGBa) — Western Switzerland's economic development agency — convened an "Invest in Shanghai" Cloud Meeting Room session, focused on two-way investment promotion, targeted alignment of priority industries, and concrete pathways for bilateral cooperation.

Both sides agreed to use the session as a springboard to deepen two-way investment flows, concentrate efforts on sectors of mutual strength, share industry research, and foster innovation synergies along the value chain. They will also leverage top-tier platforms to support Swiss companies entering China and Shanghai companies expanding into Western Switzerland, and establish a regular coordination mechanism to share industry intelligence and corporate demand.
