To the beloved people of our municipality,
With immense gratitude and a heart overflowing with pride, I presented my State of the Municipal Address (SOMA 2026) yesterday, August 20. Standing before you, I was reminded that every milestone we celebrate today is a blossom cultivated from the seeds of our shared dreams, relentless hard work, and unwavering devotion to our hometown.
We took a meaningful journey through our triumphs,reaping the vibrant fruits of the projects and accomplishments we have painstakingly built together. From major strides in infrastructure and social services to progressive community programs, each achievement stands as a monument to what we can accomplish when we walk hand in hand. Yet, as rich as our present harvest is, the horizon calls us toward an even brighter tomorrow. I was honored to unveil our forward-looking blueprints and upcoming initiatives designed to elevate our community to even greater heights.
None of these victories would have been possible without the pillars of strength that uphold our administration. My deepest and most sincere gratitude goes to our dedicated Legislative Body, whose tireless collaboration and policy leadership ensure that our visionary plans turn into tangible realities. I extend my heartfelt thanks to our Governor Hon. Mario Eduardo "TOT" C. Ortega and to Congressman Paolo Ortega -Paower, whose partnership and steadfast support continually empower our local vision.
To my beloved family, thank you for being my constant sanctuary, my ultimate source of peace, and my anchor through every challenge.
Most importantly, my heart swells with profound gratitude for my dad, Engr. Magno A. Wailan. Dad, thank you for your wisdom, your unwavering guidance, and your lifelong mentorship. You have not only shaped my leadership, but you have taught me how to lead with integrity, compassion, and resilience. Every step forward I take as a leader is a reflection of the lessons you have instilled in me.
As we turn the page toward this exciting new chapter, I reaffirm my commitment to serve you more with passion, vision, and heart. The future of our municipality is luminous, and together, we will continue to flourish.
