La mulți ani, dragi români!

Ziua Românilor de Pretutindeni este un moment de sărbătoare și de solidaritate cu milioanele de conaționali care trăiesc departe de țară și care își construiesc destinul contribuind în mod substanțial la societățile din care fac parte, păstrând viu atașamentul față de țară și față de identitatea românească.

Poate că distanțele geografice ne separă uneori, dar astăzi, mai mult decât oricând, relația dintre România și comunitățile de români din afara granițelor este dinamică, directă și profundă. Românii de pretutindeni sunt parte integrantă a societății românești și un pilon important al conectării României la spațiul internațional și al imaginii noastre în lume.

Sunt o resursă de energie, creativitate și profesionalism care contribuie nemijlocit la dezvoltarea economică și socială a țării noastre.
Prin rețeaua noastră de misiuni diplomatice și oficii consulare, rămânem mereu aproape de cetățenii români din străinătate, pentru a le proteja drepturile și interesele, în spiritul solidarității, responsabilității și al datoriei.

Fie ca această zi să ne aducă împreună, cu convingerea că aparținem aceleiași comunități de valori și că ne construim destinul împreună.

La mulți ani tuturor românilor, oriunde s-ar afla!

Bahamas Expresses Solidarity With Romania

ℹ️Un dron implicado en el bombardeo de infraestructuras en Ucrania se estrelló en Rumanía, en Galați, provocando un incendio en el techo de un edificio residencial. Dos personas resultaron levemente heridas y el edificio fue evacuado.

↗️Aviones y un helicóptero pertenecientes al Ministerio de Defensa Nacional fueron desplegados en el momento en que los drones rusos aparecieron en el radar.

Este incidente representa una escalada grave e irresponsable por parte de la Federación Rusa.
Rumanía tomará las medidas diplomáticas necesarias en respuesta a esta grave violación del derecho internacional y de su espacio aéreo.

↗️Rumanía informó a los Aliados y al Secretario General de la OTAN sobre las circunstancias y solicitó medidas para acelerar la transferencia de capacidades antidrones a Rumanía.

❗️La Federación Rusa continúa siendo un Estado agresor que libra una guerra ilegal con graves implicaciones para la seguridad regional y la seguridad de los ciudadanos.
La Federación Rusa es directamente responsable de estas acciones graves e irresponsables.

↗️Rumanía actuará con la máxima firmeza para aumentar la presión internacional sobre la Federación Rusa con el fin de lograr un alto el fuego inmediato e integral.

ℹ️A drone involved in the bombing of infrastructure in Ukraine crashed in Romania, in Galați, causing a fire on the roof of a residential building. Two people were slightly injured, and the building was evacuated.

↗️Aircraft and a helicopter belonging to the Ministry of National Defence were scrambled when the Russian drones appeared on radar.
This incident represents a serious and irresponsible escalation by the Russian Federation. Romania will take the necessary diplomatic response measures regarding this serious violation of international law and of its airspace.

↗️Romania informed the Allies and the NATO Secretary General about the circumstances and requested measures to accelerate the transfer of anti-drone capabilities to Romania.

❗️The Russian Federation continues to be an aggressor state conducting an illegal war with serious implications for regional security and the safety of citizens. The Russian Federation bears direct responsibility for these serious and irresponsible actions.

↗️Romania will act with maximum determination to increase international pressure on the Russian Federation in order to achieve an immediate and comprehensive ceasefire.

Ce matin, j’ai eu une excellente discussion avec Clotilde Dumay, chez RFI. Même si l’Afrique est le cœur de la , celle-ci ne se limite pas à l’Afrique. Il faut toujours penser aux jeunes. Je veux transformer la Francophonie afin de créer des opportunités pour les jeunes de tous nos pays.

În această dimineață, am avut o discuție excelentă cu Clotilde Dumay, la RFI. Chiar dacă Africa este în centrul Francofoniei, aceasta nu se limitează la Africa. Trebuie să ne gândim mereu la tineri. Romania took a new step in reaffirming its strong commitment to the development of the Francophonie, with Africa at its heart and the engagement of all regions and stakeholders, after announcing the candidacy of former Prime Minister and current Presidential Advisor Dacian Cioloș for the position of Secretary-General of the Francophonie:

🎓Romania marked the symbolic inauguration of the new campus of the renowned Senghor University of Alexandria, in Borg El Arab, Egypt, through a financial contribution, made possible thanks to the involvement of the Romanian company Bitdefender, a global leader in cybersecurity.

This contribution, facilitated by Romanian authorities, will fund IT equipment to strengthen Senghor University’s excellence programs, which are essential for the sustainable development of the African continent. Additional cooperation opportunities, including in cybersecurity, may be explored based on the University’s needs.

The initiative is part of Romania’s commitment to African countries, as well as its growing financial involvement and political vision within the Francophonie.

“Romania proves once again that we can unite our strengths and energies, across borders and continents, to support a shared vision of a flourishing Francophonie, with Africa at its heart and the engagement of all regions,” said Dacian Cioloș.

Senghor University of Alexandria is a leading Francophone academic institution dedicated to training Africa’s future elites. It was founded following the 1989 Dakar Summit as a Francophonie operator focused on Africa’s development.
