🙏 On Friday, March 27, the Embassy of Grenada in Cuba, on behalf of the Government and people of Grenada, delivered a donation of food and essential supplies to the International Christian Community (ICC) in Cuba. The contribution was received by Pastor Dayàn Monier, head of the ICC, and will benefit the elderly and shut-ins as part of the ICC’s ongoing Food for the Needy program. 🍞🧴

🤝 In the midst of a humanitarian crisis looming in Cuba, we are reminded of the timeless call to love thy neighbor—a principle that unites us across borders, faiths, and communities. ❤️🌍

At the Ambassador’s Residence in Havana, the Embassy of Grenada in Cuba hosted a day of reflection and culture.

Heads of Missions and members of the CARICOM Caucus of Diplomats — representatives from Belize, Jamaica, St. Lucia, and Trinidad & Tobago — joined the Embassy in commemorating this historic occasion.

The highlights of the program were the presentations by Grenadian students, who explored the pros and cons of the Revolution, reminding us that history is lived through many perspectives. Ambassador Glen Noel offered thoughtful remarks, and the day continued with a culinary exhibition of traditional Grenadian dishes prepared by the students themselves.

Together, we shared dialogue, food, and friendship — celebrating education, culture, and the enduring ties between Grenada, Cuba, and the wider Caribbean.

💚 These resources are vital, helping teachers provide the specialized tools and care the students need.
💛 We toured classrooms, renewed the school’s sign, and stood in solidarity with staff who continue their work despite Cuba’s challenges.

🇬🇩✨ March 13, 1979 – Grenada Revolution
Led by Maurice Bishop, the Revolution was a movement of national unity, self‑determination, people’s power, sovereignty, and justice. It carried the hopes of social transformation and dignity for the oppressed.

This Revolution was more than a historical event—it was a turning point, a beacon of hope, and a stark reminder of the power of resilience and the will of the people. Though short‑lived, its socio‑economic transformation left lessons that remain urgent today.

Actualmente buscamos un VETERINARIO a tiempo completo para trabajar en el único refugio de animales ubicado en la hermosa isla de Granada, en el Caribe.

Somos un refugio activo pero divertido, que atiende no solo a los animales residentes, sino que también funciona como una de las clínicas que atiende a los animales de las comunidades de la isla. Nuestro equipo está formado por 1 veterinario principal, 2 veterinarios a tiempo completo, 2 técnicos veterinarios a tiempo completo y personal de apoyo.

Este veterinario debe tener al menos 3 años de experiencia en una clínica de pequeños animales y una verdadera pasión por la medicina de refugios. Además se requiere que hable inglés ❤️‍🩹

Necesitamos profesionales capaces de manejar desde la práctica general, cirugía avanzada de tejidos blandos, enfermedades infecciosas, dermatología, hasta emergencias como accidentes de tráfico. Son esenciales las habilidades organizativas sólidas y la capacidad de multitarea.

Nuestro horario es de lunes a viernes, de 8:00 a.m. a 4:00 p.m., y no abrimos los fines de semana. Las guardias para pacientes hospitalizados se rotan. Además, nuestro veterinario tendrá un día libre completo cada dos semanas para disfrutar de su tiempo como prefiera. Contamos con radiografía digital, ecógrafo nuevo, máquina de química sanguínea, microscopio y anestesia por gas.

Ofrecemos alojamiento gratuito (para veterinarios extranjeros) en un apartamento sobre el refugio, y si necesitas un permiso de trabajo, este será cubierto por la GSPCA.

Fuera del trabajo, podrás disfrutar de todo lo que nuestra hermosa isla ofrece: desde la selva tropical, playas impresionantes hasta cascadas pintorescas. ☀️🌊

🇬🇩✨ Grenada at 52 – Celebrated in Cuba 🇨🇺✨

The Embassy of Grenada in Cuba marked the 52nd Anniversary of Grenada’s Independence with a vibrant evening at Restaurant La Campana, La Lisa.

Ambassador Glen Noel, First Secretary Sabrina Dumont, and distinguished members of the Cuban Parliament joined us in a spirit of unity and friendship. Together, we raised a toast to Grenada’s journey, reflected on its achievements through a documentary on national development and progress, and enjoyed a soulful music showcase by Grenadian artists Mandela Links, Kada Lewis, and Valene Nedd.
