Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary is the highest diplomatic rank of the official representative of the Head of State vested with full powers to speak and negotiate on behalf of the sending State with the receiving State any matter of interest to the sending State or both. The Ambassador is the eyes and ears of the sending State in the receiving State. The current Ambassador is Jerobeam Shaanika accredited to Cuba and concurrently to Venezuela, Haiti, Antigua and Barbuda and Dominican Republic.
