"Stichting Belangenbehartiging Verloskundige Zorg"(Dutch for Obstetric Avocacy Foundation)is founded by (ex) pregnant women, mothers, and first line carers

The foundation is founded at the island Curacao because of the growing of the medicalisation in the obstetric care and the ignorance about the rights of pregnant women. Nobody but only the women herself will be able to make decisions about the way of care for her and her (unborn) baby. Not the gynecologist, the midwife, the insurer or the government. It's time to give the women their power back!
