I think my body is still sleeping 😴 😄

But my responsibilities have already held their morning meeting! 😂

Preparing breakfast for my son at 3:30am

After that, we're waiting for drop-off, and I'm checking how my Plan B is moving forward.

The fish and the birds get breakfast, too, because apparently, I'm running a restaurant for the entire household! 😄 🤣

Ladies, being in midlife doesn't mean we have to put our dreams on the shelf.

We can care for our families and still make room for our own growth.

This morning, I was watching my son in the kitchen, preparing his own breakfast, and I couldn't help but feel proud.

My little boy is growing up.

He's becoming more independent, learning responsibility, and taking steps into his own life.

Of course, I had to take a video! 😂

Because when you're a proud mom, even making breakfast deserves a little documentary!

One day, we spend years feeding them, dressing them, and reminding them what to do.

Then suddenly, they're grown men, serving in the army and making their own breakfast.

Wait… does this mean I can finally retire from being the kitchen manager? 🤣🍳

A mother's heart will always see her little boy, no matter how grown-up he becomes. ❤️

💔 Last week, my first granddaughter passed away, and today was her burial day.

Being away hurts in ways words cannot explain. I didn't get the chance to hold her or see her in her final moments.

Some people judge me, thinking I don't care. But they don't know the pain I carry in my heart.

They see the distance, but they cannot measure my love.

As a Granny, I've learned that not every pain needs explaining, and not every love needs proving.

My heart is with my family, even when I cannot be there. ❤️

Everyday life is full of these little moments that make us laugh at ourselves.

We don't need a special occasion to find something worth smiling about.

There is a difference between putting a dream aside for a season and giving up on it forever.

Life gets busy.
Children grow. Family responsibilities change. And before we know it, years have passed while we have been busy making sure everyone else is doing well.

But here is something worth remembering: your next chapter can include your family and your own aspirations.

Perhaps you want to learn something new, explore a different path, travel more, or develop a skill that opens another possibility.

You don't need to figure everything out today.

Start by giving your dream a little time and attention.

Remember to build a future you can look forward to, too.
