: The 12th Combat Aviation Brigade welcomed members of the Veterans, Reservists, and Dependents of the German Bundeswehrverband (DBwV) to Katterbach.

During their visit, the group showed great interest in the AH-64E Apache and the CH-47F Chinook helicopters, as well as the IMCOM-Europe Fire Training Center and enjoyed the personal conversations.

It was an honor to host this distinguished group and share insights into aviation capabilities and fire training operations.

Visits like these strengthen the partnership and friendship between our's and German military communities. 🇩🇪🇺🇸

As U.S. Army Soldiers and civilians stationed overseas in Germany, you represent a high-value target for foreign intelligence services, extremist groups, and transnational terrorist organizations. Recent threat assessments indicate a persistent risk to U.S. military personnel and their families in the European theater. Complacency is our greatest vulnerability.

𝗥𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘃𝘂𝗹𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆:

◼ Vary your routine. Don’t be predictable.

◼ Maintain a low profile and try to blend in.

◼ Avoid wearing military uniforms or clothing with U.S. patriotic symbols when off-post.

◼ Ensure personal vehicles do not display military decals or U.S. bumper stickers.

◼ Avoid walking alone at night. Use the buddy system.

◼ Keep your car doors locked at all times, even while driving.

◼ Check around your vehicle before entering.
