Eid Mubarak from CSS!
On this joyous occasion, we wish all our valued consumers a blessed and peaceful Eid. May your homes be filled with happiness, gratitude, and togetherness.
As we celebrate, let’s remember to care for our health by choosing nutritious and wholesome foods. More importantly, let’s share our blessings with those who are less fortunate—your small act of kindness can bring immense joy to someone in need.
Eat healthy. Give generously. Celebrate responsibly.

On 15th March 2006, under the inspiring vision of Sohail Abbas Mirza , Community Solidarity System (CSS) began its journey with a simple yet powerful purpose—to build a more aware, responsible, and protected consumer society in Pakistan.
Community Solidarity System- Consumers' Community, is a non-governmental organization committed to educating consumers about their rights and responsibilities. Even decades after independence, many consumers remain unaware of their basic rights. CSS continues to work tirelessly to bridge this gap—because awareness is not just knowledge, it is protection, dignity, and empowerment. With the support of Space Age Media, this mission has grown stronger over the years.
Over the past two decades, CSS has continued its efforts with dedication and care:
Organizing awareness campaigns to help people protect themselves from counterfeit and unsafe products
Conducting workshops, including on International Women’s Day, to empower consumers—especially women—with knowledge and confidence
Promoting health and hygiene through initiatives like Refrigerator Cleaning Awareness
Raising awareness about critical public health concerns such as lead-based paint hazards and dengue prevention
Delivering Consumer Education programs in schools, colleges, and universities to shape a more responsible future generation
Engaging youth through seminars, lectures, and creative platforms like poster competitions
Contributing to policy advocacy as a member of the Punjab Consumer Protection Council
Using social media and electronic media to amplify important consumer and environmental issues
Every step taken by CSS is driven by the belief that a well-informed consumer can protect not only themselves but also their family and community. This journey has never been easy, but the purpose has always been greater than the challenges.
Today, CSS stands as a platform of hope, awareness, and collective responsibility—continuing its mission to serve and uplift society.
On World Consumer Rights Day, we renew our commitment to this cause and invite everyone to join hands in creating a more aware, safe, and empowered Pakistan.

In the spirit of compassion and generosity, the core team of Consumer Solidarity System spent time with the children at Begum Inayat Hussain Trust Orphanage to mark the 15th of Ramzan. This day is associated with the birth of Imam Hassan (A.S.), who is remembered for his kindness, generosity, and care for those in need. Inspired by these values, our team shared moments of joy with the children at the orphanage to remind them that they are valued and loved.
We also paid tribute to the inspiring founder of the orphanage, Dr. Amna, who herself grew up as an orphan, was supported in her education to become a doctor, and is now giving back to society by caring for these children. Her journey is a powerful reminder of how compassion can transform lives and create hope for others.
Let us all continue to spread kindness, support vulnerable children, and strengthen the spirit of community care.

Consumer Solidarity System celebrates the strength, creativity, and resilience of rural women.
Over the years, our team has been visiting rural communities and meeting inspiring women who quietly contribute to their household economies. Though often considered part of the “silent workforce,” these women play a vital role in supporting their families and communities.
We have also witnessed their remarkable creativity. Using simple materials available at home, many women create beautiful handicrafts — from handmade cushion covers and glass covers to decorative flower stands crafted even from plastic bottles.
For many years, CSS General Secretary, Amina Mohsin has also been working to raise awareness among women involved in cotton picking about protecting themselves from potential health risks, including reducing exposure that may increase the chances of cancer. Promoting awareness and preventive practices remains an important part of our community outreach.
As an organization committed to community welfare, we believe that empowering women through awareness, encouragement, and recognition helps build stronger and healthier communities.
We salute the hardworking and talented women who continue to inspire us every day.

Dear CSS Members,
At this critical hour, when countless families across Pakistan are battling the devastation of floods, our responsibility as a community becomes even greater. People have lost not just their homes, but their dignity, comfort, and hope. This is the time to stand united, not just in words, but in action. Instead of sending money, I request you to focus on essential items that directly bring relief to our brothers and sisters in need.
*Food items & dry rations
*Blankets, mattresses, pillows
*Clothes, shoes & socks
*Women and children’s necessities (pampers, sanitary items, etc.)
Medicines
*Water bottles, toothpaste & toothbrushes, Mosquito repellent & Insecticides, etc.
Every small contribution can rebuild a life, protect a child from the cold, or bring comfort to a mother in distress. Let us prove that compassion is stronger than calamity. Together, we can turn despair into hope.
Message by Amina Mohsin, CSS General Secretary.

Dear CSS Members,
The recent floods in Azad Kashmir, Gilgit Beltistan and KPK have left many families in a very difficult situation. With winter approaching, they need our care and support more than ever. Please encourage your friends and family to donate warm clothes, food and essential items to trusted relief organizations such as Edhi Foundation, Pakistan Red Crescent, or any reliable NGO working in the area.

CSS organized a session on positive parenting at Leadership School with cooperation of Dr. Dania Qazi, a dedicated eductionist and COO of Leadership Schools.
Dr. Dania Qazi guided mothers about significance of mental wellbeing and provided practical advices on maintaining emotional balance while raising children.
Ms. Amina Mohsin, General Secretary CSS, encouraged mothers to incorporate kindness into their parenting approach, fostering a more positive and nurturing environment for their children. She also advised mothers to engage in hobbies like gardening to maintain personal satisfaction and happiness. She also distributed seasonal seeds among mothers, encouraging them to grow plants with their children as a bonding activity that also teaches responsibility and promote green and clean environment.
