This week Kirkens Korshær turns 113! 🥳
To mark the occasion, yesterday at the shelter we celebrated alongside our guests, sharing hot chocolate, chocolate muffins and plenty of birthday cheer! ☕️🎂

Today is International dog day! And today we wish to celebrate all the lovely fury friends we have coming by the shelter 🐾🐾
⭐️Dogs are VERY welcome at Istedgade 100 - and have their own list of available services….. including shower time, a comfy blanket, food, and help with referrals to veterinary care if needed ⭐️

⭐️We are on the look out for volunteers for our shelter!⭐️

Help homeless and displaced people in Vesterbro Istedgade 100 is a small day shelter in the middle of Vesterbro, open during morning hours. Most of our guests are homeless migrants and some of the most vulnerable and marginalized people in the city.

During the weekends, it can be particularly difficult for many vulnerable people to find a safe space to be.
☀️We are open every Sunday between 10:00 and 13:00 - if you know of any people in need of our services, please send them our way

Today marks the beginning of the 7th week since we reopened at Istedgade 100. Our little shelter has gone through a lot of change, but our backbone, our amazing, committed volunteers have remained wonderfully the same.
