The Dominica Association of Persons with Disabilities (DAPD) and the Companies and Intellectual Property Office participated in a workshop on the Marrakech Treaty held in Trinidad last November.

The Marrakesh Treaty presents a significant opportunity for Dominica to expand equitable access to knowledge and learning resources. The Treaty to afford the opportunity to legally facilitate the creation and exchange of accessible-format works, ensuring that persons with print disabilities are no longer left behind due to limitations in format, cost, or availability.
