We’re joining fellow diplomatic missions in a vibrant cultural and fundraising event organized by the Association des Femmes de Diplomates en Algérie (AFDA).

In this powerful encounter, our delegation meets one of our “next of kin” in the wild — an experience that’s both humbling and awe-inspiring.

Few places on Earth offer such rare, close moments with nature’s most remarkable creatures.

When the current touring team returns to Algeria,they will use their firsthand experiences in Bwindi to actively promote and convince tourists to visit.

Their insights and stories about the unique attractions and conservation efforts will serve as powerful marketing tools to attract more visitors from Algeria and the Maghreb region.

The tourism exploration continues!

After arriving in Entebbe, our delegation of Algerian tourism professionals, influencer, and journalist traveled north to Pakwach, before heading into the heart of Murchison Falls National Park — one of Uganda’s most iconic natural wonders.

From lakeside views in Entebbe to scenic drives through Pakwach and breathtaking moments at the Falls, the group is discovering the unmatched beauty, diversity, and hospitality that define Uganda.

Each step of their journey is not just a visit, it’s a story being lived and soon to be shared with thousands across the Maghreb region.

Updates from the ongoing tourism familiarization tour.

As part of the experience, the delegation of tour operators, a travel influencer, and a journalist from Algeria visited the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where they encountered Uganda’s remarkable conservation efforts up close.

The group continued to the breathtaking Murchison Falls National Park, discovering the power and beauty of one of East Africa’s most iconic natural wonders.

From observing rhinos in their protected habitat to witnessing the majestic falls and diverse wildlife, the experience showcases Uganda’s rich biodiversity and ecotourism potential.

These moments are more than just visits — they are seeds of future travel stories that will echo across the Maghreb region, promoting Uganda as an unforgettable destination.

Today, a distinguished delegation comprising tourism professionals, influencers, and a journalist has embarked on a journey to Uganda.

This visit is designed to immerse them in the country’s stunning landscapes, vibrant culture, and unique attractions.

Upon their return, they will share their authentic experiences to inspire and promote Uganda as a premier travel destination within the Maghreb region.

This thoughtfully organized tour reflects the Embassy’s ongoing commitment to enhancing Uganda’s visibility and appeal as a captivating tourism destination, fostering closer connections and encouraging greater travel interest from the region.

The Uganda–Algeria Business Forum is taking place now at in Algiers!

Technical officials from Uganda ( Uganda Revenue Authority, Uganda National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Private Sector Foundation Uganda, and Uganda Registration Services Bureau ) are presenting possible investment opportunities in the country, in a dedicated B2B session moderated by Amb. Julius Joshua Kivuna (PhD), Deputy Head of Mission.

The forum started with a video promoting Uganda as a top destination for trade and investment, followed by direct engagement with a diverse audience of investors, government officials, organizations, and media.

The participants have beeen invited to visit the Uganda booth to further explore partnership opportunities.
