Great maritime evening and many nice people @ German Seafarers House Alexandria on Thursday, 26th of March 2026.
Different maritime lectures, the opening of ITF Seafarers Trust 2025 “Life at Sea” photo exhibition and nice tunes from Andrew ft. Bisho afterwards. Thanks to everyone who participated and to all the speakers, especially Matthias Ristau, general secretary of the German Seamen’s Mission from Hamburg and Alsayed Alshazly, head of the Marine Officers Union Alexandria.
The exhibition is still open daily during the day!

While the western world is back to normal we’re celebrating orthodox Christmas today in Egypt and still surprising seafarers of all nationalities on board with Christmas presents.
Thanks to Mr. Ramadan and all other helping hands for preparing hundreds of Christmas bags for seafarers in Egyptian ports.

Sending greetings back to Wessam somewhere in the south Atlantic. Safe sailing and hope to see you again soon in Wabour el Maya!
