اختتم مشروع CONMIGO بنجاح ورشة عمل حيوية لـ "تدريب المدربين" حول التدريب المهني والتعليمي (VET) في القاهرة (23-25 فبراير).
شهد هذا الحدث الرفيع كلمات افتتاحية من السفيرة نائلة جبر، ووزير العمل محمد جبران، وممثلين عن السفارة الإسبانية ووفد الاتحاد الأوروبي، حيث أكد الجميع على التزامنا المشترك بمكافحة الهجرة غير الشرعية عبر توفير المهارات وفرص العمل اللائق.
تم تدريب سبعة عشر مدربًا تقنيًا من جميع أنحاء مصر على يد خبراء إسبان لتعزيز أساليبهم التعليمية والارتقاء بها لتتوافق مع المعايير الدولية. هذه المبادرة الرئيسية ستُقوّي إطار التدريب المهني في مصر وتزود الشباب بالمهارات اللازمة لمستقبل أفضل!
📢 Empowering Egypt's Future Workforce! 🇪🇬🇪🇺🇪🇸
CONMIGO project successfully hosted a vital Training of Trainers (T o T) workshop on Vocational and Educational Training (VET) in Cairo (Feb 23-25).
This high-profile event, which featured remarks from Ambassador Naela Gabr, Minister of Labor Mohamed Gobran, the Spanish Embassy, and the EU Delegation, emphasized our joint commitment to combating illegal migration through skills and decent work.
Seventeen technical trainers from across Egypt were trained by Spanish experts to enhance their teaching methods, align with international standards, and strengthen Egypt's VET framework. This key initiative will provide young people with the skills they need for a better future!

اختتم مشروع CONMIGO تدريباً ناجحاً استمر لثلاثة أيام حول "مرصد سوق العمل" في القاهرة (23-25 فبراير). كان الهدف بسيطاً: تقوية نظام مصر لمراقبة وتحليل سوق العمل.
شارك خبراء من إسبانيا أفضل الممارسات الدولية، وتعلم المشاركون طرقاً جديدة لتحليل السوق وإنشاء التقارير وتصميم سياسات توظيف فعالة. انضم إلينا 18 مسؤولاً من سبع محافظات مختلفة شاركوا في أنشطة عملية لتكييف هذه النماذج الدولية لتناسب السياق المصري.
لقد نجح هذا التدريب في تزويد المشاركين بالمعرفة اللازمة لبناء مرصد مصري قوي لسوق العمل يدعم اتخاذ القرارات المستنيرة ويخلق سياسات توظيف أكثر شمولاً. إنها خطوة رائعة إلى الأمام للتوظيف في مصر!
📢 Egypt-Spain Cooperation: Boosting Labor Market Skills! 🇪🇬🇪🇸
Our Cooperation on Migration Governance (CONMIGO) project just wrapped up a successful three-day "Labor Market Observatory" training in Cairo (February 23-25). The goal was simple: strengthen Egypt's system for monitoring the job market.
Experts shared best practices from Spain, and participants learned new ways to analyze the labor market, create reports, and design effective employment policies. We were joined by 18 officials from seven different governorates who took part in hands-on activities to adapt these international models for the Egyptian context.
This training successfully equipped our participants with the knowledge to build a robust Egyptian Labor Market Observatory that will support informed decision-making and create more inclusive job policies. A great step forward for employment in Egypt!

في الفترة من 18 إلى 20 مايو، قام فريق مشروع CONMIGO، بالشراكة مع المجلس القومي لحقوق الإنسان (NCHR)، بتنظيم سلسلة من الفعاليات المؤثرة بهدف رفع الوعي حول مخاطر الهجرة غير الشرعية وتعزيز البدائل الآمنة والقانونية. تحت قيادة السفيرة نائلة جبر، جمعنا مجموعة واسعة من المشاركين، بما في ذلك المسؤولون المحليون، وقادة المجتمع، والمرأة الريفية، وطلاب الجامعات، والشباب. تضمنت أنشطتنا ورش عمل لبناء القدرات للمسؤولين المحليين، وندوات توعية في المجلس القومي للمرأة وجامعة المنيا، واجتماعات استراتيجية رفيعة المستوى مع محافظ المنيا، وفعالية حيوية تركز على الشباب في مركز شباب المنيا، تضمنت نقاشات تفاعلية ومسرحية ومسابقات رياضية لتمكين الجيل القادم.

We're thrilled to wrap up a highly successful three-day mission in Minya Governorate!
From May 18th to 20th, our CONMIGO team, in partnership with the National Council for Human Rights (NCHR), held a series of impactful events aimed at raising awareness about the dangers of illegal migration and promoting safe, legal alternatives. Under the leadership of Ambassador Naela Gabr, we brought together a wide range of participants, including local officials, community leaders, rural women, university students, and youth. Our activities included capacity-building workshops for local officials, awareness seminars at the National Council for Women and Minya University, high-level strategic meetings with the Governor of Minya, and a vibrant, youth-focused event at Minya Youth Center featuring interactive discussions, a theater play, and sports competitions to empower the next generation.
We are incredibly proud of the positive reception and strong engagement from the Minya community. This mission successfully strengthened partnerships and empowered diverse voices to actively work against illegal migration.
A huge thank you to all our partners and participants for making this mission a resounding success!

تعزيز قدرات عن الخطوط الأمامية! عقد صندوق مكافحة الهجرة غير الشرعية وحماية المهاجرين والشهود، بالتعاون مع المجلس القومي للطفولة والأمومة، ورشة عمل حاسمة في الغردقة (من 26 إلى 27 فبراير 2025) مخصصة لـ"تعزيز قدرات لجان حماية الطفل في مكافحة الهجرة غير الشرغية". قدم الخبراء رؤى قيمة واستراتيجيات قانونية لحماية الأطفال المهاجرين. بمشاركة من البحر الأحمر وقنا وسوهاج والقاهرة، تعزز هذه المبادرة قدرتنا الجماعية على حماية الأطفال المستضعفين أثناء تنقلهم.
𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐝! The TF, in collaboration with the NCCM, held a crucial workshop in Hurghada (Feb 26-27, 2025) dedicated to "Enhancing the Capacities of Child Protection Committees in Combating Illegal Migration." Experts provided valuable insights and legal strategies to protect migrant children. With participants from the Red Sea, Qena, Sohag, and Cairo, this initiative strengthens our collective ability to safeguard vulnerable children on the move.

On 18-20 February, we held an important workshop in Fayoum with the NCHR, dedicated to strengthening how complaints related to illegal migration and human trafficking are handled. The expertise shared by Dr. Yara Fahmy on trauma-informed approaches was particularly valuable for the 28 participants from the governorate. This workshop in Fayoum marks a vital step forward in our collective efforts to protect vulnerable individuals and uphold human rights across Egypt.
