يسعدنا أن نرحّب بالسيد كيم وان جونغ، السفير الجديد لجمهورية كوريا لدى مصر 🇰🇷🇪🇬

وقد قام مؤخراً بزيارة سفارة جمهورية مصر العربية في سيول، إيذاناً ببدء مهمته الدبلوماسية الجديدة. ويُعد من الدبلوماسيين المخضرمين، إذ التحق بوزارة الخارجية الكورية عام 1990، وشغل مناصب دبلوماسية بارزة في اليابان وسنغافورة ونيويورك وبيرو ولوس أنجلوس.

وفي عام 2017، نال جائزة أفضل دبلوماسي، وهي جائزة اختاره لها زملاؤه في وزارة الخارجية تقديراً لكفاءته وجهوده. وإلى جانب عمله الدبلوماسي، يُعرف بحبه للرياضات الجماعية مثل البيسبول وكرة القدم والتنس، كما أنه شغوف بقراءة كتب التاريخ.

ونتطلع إلى أن تسهم خبرته الواسعة في تعزيز علاقات الصداقة والتعاون بين مصر وكوريا، ونتمنى له كل التوفيق والنجاح في مهامه الجديدة🤍

We are pleased to welcome Mr. Kim Wan-joong, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Egypt🇪🇬🇰🇷

He recently visited the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Seoul, marking the beginning of his new diplomatic mission. A seasoned diplomat, he joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea in 1990 and has served in key diplomatic positions in Japan, Singapore, New York, Peru, and Los Angeles.

In 2017, he was honored with the Best Diplomat Award, voted by his peers at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Beyond diplomacy, he is a great fan of ball games such as baseball, soccer, and tennis, and an avid reader of history books.

We look forward to his broad international experience further strengthening the friendship and cooperation between Egypt and Korea, and we wish him every success in his new role.

주이집트 대한민국 신임 대사로 임명된 김완중 대사님의 부임을 진심으로 환영합니다.🇪🇬🇰🇷

김완중 대사님께서는 최근 서울 주한 이집트대사관을 방문하며 새로운 외교 임무의 시작을 알렸습니다. 김 대사님은 1990년 대한민국 외교부에 입부한 이후 일본, 싱가포르, 뉴욕, 페루, 로스앤젤레스 등 여러 지역에서 주요 외교 직책을 수행해 온 베테랑 외교관입니다.

또한 2017년에는 외교부 동료들의 투표로 선정되는 ‘최우수 외교관상’을 수상하며 그 공로를 인정받았습니다. 외교 활동뿐만 아니라 야구, 축구, 테니스와 같은 구기 종목을 즐기며, 역사서를 즐겨 읽는 것으로도 알려져 있습니다.

앞으로 폭넓은 국제 경험을 바탕으로 한국과 이집트 간의 우호와 협력이 더욱 강화되기를 기대하며, 새로운 임무에서 큰 성공을 거두시길 바랍니다.
