This center is one of AL-Azhar university’s institutes that is known by its establishment, development, organizational system , objects and the followed methods to achieve these goals .Its one of the Economic experience organizations that offers many services to the Islamic World .And thanks to G...od that the employees at the center work hardly in publishing Economic knowledge from the Islamic pe
rspective. In addition that we cannot deny the effective contribution of the scientists and experts who work outside the center to its scientific activities. The brochure includes the role of the center and its scientific activities until the end of June 2011.We confirm that the center's editions and services are easily available for all people. We also invite scientists, researchers and students to contribute to the activities of the center as a service for Islam and Muslims.

The idea of establishing the center begun when ElSheikh Saleh Kamel donated Faculty of Commerce El Azhar University 20 thousand pounds courageous annual awards given to the best researches & Islamic commercial studies . Then the idea developed to establish organizational unit affiliated to the Faculty of Commerce El Azhar University named by The Research & Islamic Commercial Studies Center .When the faculty had been moved from its old building of El Azhar University at EL Drasa suburb to the new building of the faculty at Nasr City .The faculty offered a land for establishing independent building of the center. The ministerial decision nom(138) in 1982 issued to give the center the name of El Sheikh Saleh Kamel ,honoring him for donating establishing the building & furniture it ,to be " Saleh Abd Allah Kamel Center of Researches & Islamic commercial studies" .Then the name changed in 1992 to be "Saleh Abd Allah Kamel Center of Islamic Economics ( SKCIE )".Since 1990 the center begun affiliated to the faculty instead of Faculty of Commerce according to the decision of the center's administrative board nom(6),15 May 1990
