🇪🇺 Strengthening cooperation on intellectual property enforcement at the border.
From 6 to 8 October, the European Union Intellectual Property Office - EUIPO, in cooperation with the Hungarian National Tax and Customs Administration, supported a study visit to Budapest for customs officers from Armenia, the Republic of Moldova, Ukraine and the Western Balkans.
🤝 Through practical exchanges, presentations and on-site visits, participants shared experiences and European best practices on detecting and addressing IP infringements and combating counterfeit and pirated goods.
The activity reflects the approach, bringing Member State expertise to cooperation with partner countries. It also builds on the EUIPO’s work in IP enforcement through the European Observatory on Infringements of Intellectual Property Rights.
The study visit took place in the framework of the EU-funded EU4IP and EU4IP-WB projects.
