🚨 SAN FULGENCIO MISSES ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY TO MOVE FORWARD
Today, an Extraordinary Plenary Session was held for the approval of the 2026 Municipal Budgets.
❌ The budgets were not approved due to votes against by the PSOE and unattached councillor Alain Vandenbergen.
And behind a vote lies something far more important: planned projects to improve the lives of our residents that are now left up in the air.
📍 What was planned?
🛝 4 Children's Playgrounds in our developments
➡️ Their repair and improvement cannot be carried out.
🚸 Pedestrian Crossings
➡️ Upgrades aimed at increasing pedestrian safety remain halted.
⚠️ Speed Bumps
➡️ Planned measures in residential areas that will not be implemented.
👵 Continuity of the SIREM Service
➡️ A service we consider essential for our residents is now compromised.
🌱 Nuevo Cañaveral Turf
➡️ The planned repairs and improvements will also be unable to move forward.
🏘️ And this is just part of it.
Many other actions and investments included in the budget are now impacted.
❗ We are not just talking about numbers.
We are talking about parks where our children play, pedestrian crossings, road safety, services for our seniors, maintenance of our developments, and improvements our residents have been demanding for a long time.
From the PP, we respect all political stances, but we also believe in explaining the consequences of each decision to our citizens.
👉 Today, the PSOE and Alain Vandenbergen voted NO to these budgets.
And we ask:
Who loses when the investments San Fulgencio needs are not approved?
The answer is clear:
🏘️ Our residents.
❤️🖤 From the PP, we will keep fighting to ensure San Fulgencio and its developments do not stop, do not fall back, and keep moving forward.
💪 We will keep working. We will keep standing up. And we will keep defending the improvements our residents deserve.
