አዲስ አበባ ነሐሴ 1/2007 በኢትዮጵያ በቅርቡ ሶስት አዳዲስ የውጭ ኩባንያዎች በአበባ ልማት ተሰማርተዋል፡፡
የኢትዮጵያ ሆርቲካልቸር ልማት ኤጀንሲ ከአዲሶቹ አበባ አልሚዎች አንዱ የኔዘርላንድ ሁለቱ ደግሞ የህንድ ኩባንያዎች መሆናቸውን ገልጿል።
የኤጀንሲው የህዝብ ግንኙነት ማስተባበሪያ ኃላፊ አቶ መኮንን ኃይሉ ኩባንያዎቹ በአማራ ክልል 190 ሄክታር መሬት ተረክበው ማልማት መጀመራቸውን ተናግረዋል።
የኩባንያዎቹ ስራ መጀመር አገሪቱ ወደ ውጭ የምትልከውን አበባ በብዛትና በጥራት በማቅረብ ከዘርፉ የምታገኘውን የውጭ ምንዛሪ ያሳድገዋል።
በክልሉ የሆርቲካልቸር ልማት ከመስፋቱ ጎን ለጎን የባህርዳር ኤርፖርት የካርጎ አገልግሎት ለመስጠት የማቀዝቀዣ መጋዘኖችና ሌሎች አገልግሎቶችን በማሟላት የኤክስፖርት ሂደቱን ይበልጥ ለማቀላጠፍ የጎላ አስተዋጽኦ ይኖረዋል ብለዋል።
መንግሥት ለዘርፉ በሰጠው ትኩረት፣ ለባለኃብቶች በሚያደርገው ድጋፍና በሃገሪቱ ባለው ምቹ የኢንቨስትመንት ሁኔታ በመሳብ በርካታ የውጭ ኩባንያዎች በዘርፉ ለመስራት ፍላጎት አሳይተዋል ነው ያሉት።
በኤክስፖርት ልማት ዘርፍ የሚሰማሩ የውጭ ኩባንያዎች መበራከት ከሆርቲካልቸር ኤክስፖርት የሚገኘውን የውጭ ምንዛሬ ከማሳደግ ባሻገር በሥራ ዕድል ፈጠራና በቴክኖሎጂ ሽግግር አስተዋፅኦ እያደረገ ነው።
አገሪቱ በተጠናቀቀው በጀት ዓመት በ11 ወራት ከሆርቲካልቸር ኤክስፖርት ኢንዱስትሪ 226 ሚሊዮን የአሜሪካን ዶላር ገቢ ያገኘች ሲሆን ከዚሁ ውስጥ 184 ሚሊዮን ዶላር የተገኘው ከአበባ ዘርፍ ነው።
ኢትዮጵያ በሆርቲካልቸር ኤክስፖርት ልማት ከፍተኛ እምቅ ኃብት ካላቸው አገራት መካከል የመጀመሪያ ደረጃ ላይ ትገኛለች።
በአሁኑ ወቅት በአገሪቱ 140 የአገር ውስጥና የውጭ ኩባንያዎች ምርቶቻቸውን ለዓለም ገበያ እንደሚያቀርቡ ከኤጀንሲው የተገኘ መረጃ ያመላክታል።

Just got back from Ethiopia! Ethiopia is entering the global supply of cut flowers in a large way. The greenhouse structures are impressive as well as the logistics. Currently they are strong suppliers to Europe, Japan, and Russia. It will not be long before they become an important source for North America! The people are hard workers and the government is very cooperative and helpful.
We were joined by the Ethiopian Ministry of Agriculture, Ethiopian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ethiopian Ministry of Horticulture, and the US Embassy Economic Development Group. We hope to start with this exciting and diverse products in the weeks and months to come!

Ethiopia attracts more western investors

The diversified agro-ecology and transportation accessibility in Ethiopia are attracting western investors to engage in growing and exporting of horticultural products, the Ministry of Agriculture said.

While conferring with visiting North American flower distributers delegation, the Minister Tefera Deribew said Ethiopia offers a vast tracts of land with fertile soil, abundant water resource and diversity of agro-ecology, which helps to grow variety of flowers.

He said the Ethiopian Airlines, the national carrier, has made the transportation of horticultural and other agricultural products easy and cheap, he said.

The Minister said support of the government to the sector helped to establish 120 commercial farms in the country.

Ethiopian Horticultural Development Agency Director-General, Alem Woldegerima on his part said members of the delegation expressed desire to distribute Ethiopian flowers.

He said activities will be carried out in the future to attract North American investors to engage in horticulture production and export.

የኢትዮጵያ የአበባ ምርት የአሜሪካንን ገበያ እየሳበ ነው

አዲስ አበባ ፣ መስከረም 10 ፣ 2006 (ኤፍ.ቢ.ሲ) የኢትዮጵያ የአበባ ምርት የአሜሪካንን ገበያ እየሳበ በመሆኑ ፥ ሀገሪቱ ያላት የገበያ ተደራሽነትም ከጊዜ ወደ ጊዜ እያደገ መምጣቱ ተመለከተ።

አሁን በዘርፉ ከ120 በላይ ዘመናዊ ቴክኖሎጂ ተጠቃሚ የሆኑ እና በአበባ ፣ በአትክልትና ፍራፍሬ አምራችነት የተሰማሩ ኩባንያዎች ሲኖሩ ፥ የተለያየ ዝርያ ያላቸው 2 ነጥብ 26 ቢሊየን የአበባ ግንዶችም ተተክለው በጥሩ ሁኔታ እየበቀሉ ነው።

ምርቱን በእጥፍ ለማሳደግና መዳረሻውን ለማስፋትም በአሜሪካ ስመ ጥር የሆኑ የአበባ ገዥዎችና ጅምላ ቸርቻሪዎች ከኢትዮጵያ ጋር የንግድ ግንኙነት ለመፍጠር መግባባት ላይ መደረሱን ነው ፥ የኢትዮጵያ ሆልቲካልቸር ልማት ኤጀንሲ ዋና ዳይሬክተር አቶ ዓለም ወልደገሪማ የተናገሩት ።

ይህም የምርቱን መዳረሻዎቹን ከማስፋት ባለፈ የተሻለ የዋጋ አማራጭ ለማግኘት ያስችላል ተብሏል።
