It is well known to achieve success in minimizing and further eradicating poverty is by raising awareness regarding the drawbacks of poverty and what the child is going through, if his/her essential needs are not fulfilled the child and the family will be prone to many socio economic problems which will lead to be forced out on the streets to make money. To contribute on helping to change these problems empowering families and guardians with the skill and the understanding of creating jobs and generate ones income is extremely important.
Having this to a consideration MMHCHA trained 10 mothers and guardians in how to create and grow their small businesses and how to manage and save the income so that they could carry themselves and their families out of poverty.

Lunch and Feeding Progress.
AS it is known with the help of our great supporter of Mercy Home We had started the Lunch feeding program. Since the start we have been providing lunch for 51 children for 5 days a week. This year also we are providing lunch for 60 school children who don’t have the capacity to bring their lunch to school due to the economic challenges their families face. The children who are being chosen to undergo this nutritional support program are children whose families could not support their nutritional requirements and who doesn’t have the privilege to eat 3 meals a day. To help this children meet their nutritional needs we support this them by providing nutritious meal 5 days a week.
We have seen a magnificent progress in their health and their attention to education given due to the care and support they get through Mercy Home and the follow up done by both Mercy Home and their school.
