This groundbreaking initiative celebrates Indigenous knowledge, cultural resilience, and the powerful stories woven through the practice of Veiqia. Weโve got a week full of vibrant activities, creative expressions, and community engagement lined up, all honoring the spirit and legacy of our ancestors.

The accompanying exhibition, Na Cagi Ni Veisau (14 November 2025 โ 8 February 2026), showcases stunning new likus crafted by 12 Fijian artisans and artists. These traditional fibre skirts once marked key life stages such as puberty, marriage, and motherhood, and continue to inspire contemporary cultural expression.
