Yesterday at the Pacific Aid for Trade Day in Suva, our Regional and Development Officer, Catherine Mara, joined government stakeholders and development partners at the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat.
They explored key opportunities, emerging trends, and challenges shaping trade across the region.
The discussions also provided valuable insights under the theme “Inclusive and Sustainable Trade in the Blue Pacific: Integrating a GESI Lens Across Aid for Trade Initiatives.”
The event highlighted the importance of building a more inclusive, accessible, and sustainable trade environment for Pacific communities.

Our Blue Planet Fund Regional Programme Officer, Rosi Waqanisau, participated in the Resilient Reefs Pasifika Accelerator Workshop in Pacific Harbour, hosted by the Great Barrier Reef Foundation and Talanoa Consulting.
The workshop supported Cohort 2 projects to strengthen project design, unlock funding pathways, and build partnerships aligned with the Pacific Coral Reef Action Plan.
