Your FSM DOJ Cyber Security and Intelligence Bureau is recommending the FSM's participation in the regional PDNS pilot program being proposed by our partners at the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
PDNS acts as a first line of defense by filtering and analyzing DNS requests—the "phonebook of the internet." It blocks connections to known and suspected malicious domains before a connection is ever established. In other words, PDNS stops us from accessing malicious sites.

The FSM Department of Health & Social Affairs and its four state counterparts have concluded their fourth annual Digital Health Conference at Yap State Hospital. A key presentation from the Department of Justice's Cyber Security and Intelligence Bureau (CSIB) outlined critical cybersecurity best practices for the healthcare sector. The CSIB emphasized the importance of complying with FSM data sovereignty laws and patient privacy protections, particularly in the context of extraterritorial legislation like the U.S. CLOUD Act.
Perhaps, the FSM can learn from experience of the Netherlands.
Trump has free rein over Dutch government data
The Netherlands relies heavily on American IT service providers such as Microsoft, Google and Amazon for the storage of government data.

FSM needs a strong cyber legal framework aligned with international standards to enforce security, deter cybercrime, and foster digital resilience.
Four cyber-related bills have been drafted; we need to work on all four bills; not just one.
Logic: we know we need a strong cyber legal framework; one bill instead of four bills will not yield more comprehensive nor stronger cyber legislations.
