Educate a girl today, Accelerate Gender Equality tomorrow!
On this International Women's Day, we urge all parents and guardians struggling to pay school fees and enroll their girls in S1 this year to register them in any USE school.
UNICEF through Enabel, Trailblazers Mentorship Foundation and Spotlight are running the Cash Plus programme model where parents and guardians will receive a modest cash assistance of shs 264,000/= to support them to keep their girls in school.
However, only those who are vulnerable and have attained 80% of school attendance will receive this cash assistance.
With an Inception meeting already conducted with stakeholders, UNICEF is currently doing verification of the potential beneficiaries of 5,000 girls from 7 districts.
This assistance is not a sponsorship!
