After the success of last year's Midsummer Ball & the repeated requests for a similar event, we have the Summer Ball 2026 at the Village Hall on Saturday 27th June from 7.30pm. We welcome Carousel Dream as our live music act. Tickets are only £10 each but are limited so book yours now. Ticket also includes a welcoming summer cup drink. Bring your own refreshments for the evening & be prepared for a wonderful social event with music & dancing.

A summer of exciting events at the Hall starting in June with:
Wednesday 17th June 2-4pm - Community Cafe with the usual array of delicious homemade cakes & scones. Future cafe dates to be confirmed.

Saturday 27th June from 7.30pm the return of our Summer Ball with live music from Carousel Dream. This is a ticketed event with limited numbers. Tickets are £10 each to include a welcoming summer cup drink. Please contact early to book your ticket.

World Laughter Day celebrated by one of our oldest residents . We loved having a bit of a laugh together outside the hall 😁

Events at the Hall this week:

Monday 4th - World Laughter Day - invitation for everyone to meet at the hall at 6pm - let's see if we raise a few laughs.

Saturday 9th - Plant Sale 10am-2pm - large variety of veg & flowers plants will be for sale. Do you have any to swop, sell or donate to the sale? Tea/coffee & cakes will be available to purchase in the cafe.

Future events:

Community cafe afternoon teas will commence in June - dates to be announced.

If that wasn't enough we will also be running the cafe with cakes, scones & refreshments.
