The Fleming Hall

A huge thank you to our amazing volunteers - Harry Thomson, Jill Morrison, Colin Duff and Nicki Evans - who rolled up their sleeves and got stuck in today! 💪

From picking up the chuckies, to shovelling two tonnes off the trailer, and spreading them across the Fleming Hall grounds, the team put in a tremendous effort to help improve our outdoor space.

We are incredibly grateful for your time and energy. The grounds are looking fantastic thanks to you all! 👏

There is lots happening at Fleming Hall just now, and one of our biggest projects is tidying up the outside of the hall. The difference already is incredible, and that is thanks to some of our amazing volunteers and supporters.

A huge thank you to Walker's Shortbread's Estate Team, who have been helping with weeding, cutting back overgrown areas, and sharing their gardening expertise along the way. There is still more to come!

🌿 Alan McTavish for cutting back the dangerous metal poles along the d**e.
🌿 Brian Shand for all his hard work digging out and tidying the front of the d**e.
🌿 Derek Gallon for helping clear away the sandbags.
🌿 Nicki Evans and Cheryl Shand for leading the charge with painting, rubbing down, organising all the work, and generally making everything look fantastic.

The photos really show how much effort has gone into transforming the hall's surroundings, and we are incredibly grateful for every hour that has been given.

There is still plenty to do, and we would love some extra hands. Even just 30 minutes of your time can make a huge difference.

We have chuckies being delivered on Monday, so if you are available to come along and help, we would be very grateful.

After the success of our first Soup and Sweet, we are hosting another on Saturday 13 June, 12-2pm.

Come join us for some homemade soup, delicious sweets and some great company - all in aid of The Fleming Hall.

📢 Fleming Hall Lease Extended 🎉

We are pleased to share that the Moray Council has agreed to extend the current lease of the Fleming Hall until October 2026.

This extension gives us time to work through the finer details of the new lease and ensure the continued use of the hall for the community.

Thank you for your ongoing support — we will keep you updated as things progress.

We are so grateful to everyone who donated soup, puddings, raffle prizes, and to all those who gave up their time to help and volunteer. Your generosity and support made the event a wonderful success.

Together, we raised an amazing £708.00 for the Fleming Hall! 🎉

A special thank you to Cheryl for pulling everything together and organising the event after spotting a free date in the diary two weeks ago — we really appreciate everything you did.
