𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀 is a free MA Photography Exhibition 𝗯𝘆 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗮 𝗝 𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲, and we’re honoured to host it here at Abingdon Abbey Buildings.

Shot entirely in black and white, this moving collection turns the lens on alternative therapies — on stillness, presence, and the deeply human need to slow down and reconnect. In a world grappling with a mental health crisis, these images feel less like photographs and more like a breath of fresh air.

From the very first pour to the final encore, this year’s Beer Festival was everything we love about this community — and more. Visitors travelled from near and far to raise a glass (or two!) beneath the ancient walls of the Abbey Buildings, and the atmosphere was nothing short of magical.

Local bands brought the buildings to life. Our beloved selection of beers and ciders flowed freely. And our brand-new 2026 cocktail menu? Let’s just say it went down rather well. 🍹

As always, the turnout was fantastic — a true testament to the warmth and spirit of everyone who makes this event so special, year after year.

But here’s what has us truly excited… 2027 is going to be extraordinary. As the regeneration project for the Abingdon Abbey Buildings moves forward, next year’s festival will mark a brilliant new chapter for this treasured 13th-century landmark. ✨
