This is the official page for 7 Regiment RLC, owned by the regiment and updated regularly. Wherever they may go, the eagle will be flying.

We hope that all serving and ex-serving soldiers, officers and dependants will find it a useful way to keep in touch with each other and the Regiment. Every Regiment has a backstory, but out of all the Regiments in the Royal Logistic Corps today, 7 Regiment arguably has the most colourful. As the British Army enters an era of significant change, it is apt to summarise the eventful past of 7 Regime

🎅Festive Week Continues with Soldiers’ Day🎅

Soldiers’ Day is a key part of festive week and a chance to recognise and celebrate our junior soldiers for everything they contribute throughout the year.

The day kicked off with breakfast baps before heading out for the inter-Sqn football tournament.

After some tough games and fierce competition, 68 Supply Sqn came out on top and claimed this year’s trophy. Pte Smith (68 Supply Sqn) finished as top goal scorer, and Pte Stone (9 F> Sqn) was named player of the tournament for their stand-out performance.

To round off the day, the soldiers were served a three-course Christmas meal by the Officers and SNCOs of the Regiment.

7 Regiment RLC were honoured to host the RLC Corps Colonel and Corps Sergeant Major on 3 December 2025.

The theme of the day was “A Year in Review”, and included a coffee morning with respective messes, a series of Squadron briefs, and hands-on vehicle driving.

This gave the Corps Colonel and Corps Sergeant Major a clear insight into the Regiment’s output over the last year, challenges and achievements.

The visit concluded with the presentation of five Long Service & Good Conduct medals, a fitting end to a day recognising dedication, excellence and the commitment of our personnel.

A fantastic opportunity to demonstrate the pride, proficiency and people that make 7 Regiment RLC stand out.

Today we welcomed firefighters from Red Watch, Rewley Road Fire Station, along with officers from Thames Valley Police, to speak to the soldiers of 7 Regiment RLC about drink driving and its very real consequences.

After the brief, the Fire Service carried out a live RTC demonstration, extracting four of our soldiers out of a vehicle to show exactly what emergency crews face in the aftermath of a collision.

A huge thank you to Red Watch, Rewley Road, and Thames Valley Police for taking the time to join us today.

🏅🏃🏻‍♂️Capt Franklin Completes Ultra X 110km for SSAFA 🏃🏻‍♂️🏅

On 15-16 November 2025, Capt Franklin (9 Sqn, 7 RLC), Capt Bowler (17 RLC) and Sgt Weaver (1 (UK) Div) travelled to Quarzazate, Morocco, to take on the Ultra X 110km multi-stage ultramarathon in support of SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity.

Starting on 15 November 2025, the team faced a gruelling 61km first day, battling nearly 1,000m of elevation and relentless desert heat. After a night under the stars, they pushed through the final 50km on tired legs, showing determination and resilience from start to finish.

The challenge was a huge success, with each member testing their limits while raising vital funds for a cause close to the military community. An outstanding achievement, well done to Capt Franklin and the team! 👏🏽🏅

Today we honour St. Maximilian Kolbe, whose supreme act of self-gift at Auschwitz remains an enduring sign of Christian love.

His willingness to die in place of a fellow prisoner reminds us of what true sacrifice looks like.

We also acknowledge the tradition within 7 Regiment RLC of regarding St. Kolbe as a spiritual patron, his example echoes the principles of duty, courage, and service that inspire us daily.
