❤️🩹 So, Princess Smokey had to go to the vets yesterday as she was not eating as she should be and was quite restless. I was worried she was in pain with her tail.
Uncle Mike gave her a really thorough examination, and concluded that she indeed does look very good for her age 😻😻😻
On a more serious note, he could see that the growth around her tail and back end has grown, and is quite a bit bigger than even the significant portion you can see - wrapping around her tail and lower back.
We have added a different type of painkiller and an appetite stimulant into her daily meds, and she continues on antibiotics and an antiseptic spray for the wound.
We are completely focused on ensuring Smokey continues to have a good quality of life - whilst she is happy, we keep going.
Later last night she had some supper, and today she has enjoyed some fresh white fish for lunch. Good girl Smokey-soo ❤️🩹
