On 20 May 2026, RAF Cosford was proud to host the RAF Athletics Association President’s Cup Championship 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

The event brought together stations from across the RAF for an inter-station combined men’s and women’s team competition, with a strong emphasis on inclusivity and mass participation. Athletes competed across a range of track and field events, earning points individually that contributed to an overall team score, culminating in a single winning team.

Open to all abilities, the championship provided an excellent opportunity for Service personnel to get involved in sport, strengthen team spirit, and showcase athletic talent. It also serves as an important platform to identify potential athletes who may go on to represent the RAF at the 2026 Inter-Services and beyond.

A fantastic effort from all involved, with the final standings:
🥇 RAF Brize Norton – 108 points (President’s Cup winners)
🥈 RAF Halton – 96 points
🥉 RAF Cosford – 92 points

to all competitors for their commitment, sportsmanship, and performance, and well done to RAF Brize Norton for taking home the trophy.

📸 Sgt Phil, Cpl Hamilton & AS1 Katie.
