-Ringwood Road-
The Parish Council were approached over speeding concerns on the Ringwood Road. At our March meeting, members agreed to submit a request to Dorset Council Highways for speeding tubes to be placed on Ringwood Road to assist in evidencing the issue of speeding and depending on the results to then discuss any further actions to take. In the meantime, if anyone has any experience of non injury collisions or near misses on the Ringwood Rd, please report via the following link https://dorset-self.achieveservice.com/service/Report-a-non-injury-collision-or-near-miss Any reports can help evidence the need for speed restrictions.
We have been advised that Kent Lane is not accessible today via Churchfield Lane. If you are heading to Ringwood or further afield, you will need to use Alderholt Road through Somerley or head out through Fordingbridge

Some of you may remember that last year we asked for your thoughts about the exercise equipment.
We're excited to share that last week we uodated the exercise equipment on the Amanda Harris Playing Field, which now provides a full-body resistance workout and includes bars for simple calisthenics exercise.
Why not make the most of the lovely weather we're enjoying at the moment and go and give it a trial - with simple dials to adjust the resistance and diagrams on each machine to let you know how to use it, it should be beneficial to a lot of people in the village!
Dorset Council have advised us that they have had communication regarding issues with mobile phone coverage in Alderholt. As a Parish Council we have not had any reports of issues for some years.
If you experience problems with mobile phone coverage in the village, please could you let us know what area of the village and who your provider is. We would be grateful for any feedback.
