UKAF Women's Hockey team are playing the DUTCH AF team at the Aldershot Hockey pitch on June 04. We are delighted to have Ellie Rayer attend as a special guest and present awards. Ellie is an English international field hockey player who plays as a midfielder or forward for England and Great Britain. She scored in GBs final match to secure a bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021.

Congratulations all round for the Mens UKAF Hockey team 👏🏆👏🏆🏑
The UKAF Men’s Hockey Team competed at the weekend in England’s longest running hockey competition, the County Championships, facing nine strong sides.

After pool victories over Shropshire and Yorkshire, and a narrow defeat to the Isle of Man, the team showed real resilience securing a dramatic last touch goal to draw with Nottinghamshire and finish second in their pool.

A hard fought semi final against the top team from the opposite pool, Warwickshire, saw UKAF edge a tense contest 3–2 to reach the final (potentially for the first time in memory).

The final against Lincolnshire was a cagey, attritional affair, ending 2–2 and going to penalty strokes. UKAF held their nerve, converting all five penalties, before Lincolnshire’s final effort was fired wide sealing a memorable championship victory.

An outstanding performance and a fantastic achievement for the team.

The squad was as per the list in the post below with the addition of Andrew Siemann (RAF) as coach, DAN CATTERMOLE (Army) as Manager and Harry Johnstone (Army) as Assistant Manager.

What a fantastic final day of hockey at the IC Outdoor tournament in Aldershot - lots of goals scored, tense matches, tired legs and plenty of sunshine.
Big thanks to all the Tournament officials and Umpires and to all those Managers who got players out to attend and help make the tournament a great event.

Fantastic win by Infantry in Masters tournament at IC Outdoor hockey in Aldershot today. Really well done as new Chairman of Army Hockey Col Goodey presented the cup and medals to the deserving winners 🏆 🏑 🎉
Runners up this year were RE&SC with RSIGS in 3rd place - lots of tired legs by the end of the day but still we do it all again tomorrow with finishing matches for Men and Womens tournament Sodexo Group Camberley RTX

ARMY CUP FINAL - 8 Bn REME v ARMY HQ played during the IC Outdoor hockey tournament at Aldershot. Great game played and close scoring. 8 Bn REME came out with a well earned win 3-2 to win the Cup. 🏑👏🏆🥇
