We had a great day today at the Fire Station - S'Mores from the Scouts, a bouncy castle, the fire engine as always was a hit with the kids (and the adults!), and Heather and Harris came along to say hello π
We also did a little bit of fundraising for The Fire Fighters Charity - a winner for the Firefighter cuddly toy was picked at random. Well done to Jess Irwin, who had the name "Blossom" π
A huge well done to Alford Christmas Festival for all the organising, and to everyone who took part and made this a very special day in the village! Merry Christmas, from Alford Community Fire Station π

It's been a busy weekend for the Fire Service. The Alford appliance (R51P6) was called out at 0230 hrs on Sunday morning (29/6/2025) to assist with the large Wildfire at Dava near to Grantown-on-Spey. The crew were back in Alford by 1100 hrs. Although it's not unusual to be mobilised to assist other stations, this is the furthest we've travelled recently.
