District Councillor Four Marks ,Medstead and Chawton In 2023 I will be standing as a candidate to become a district councillor for Four Marks and Medstead.

The existing 3 councillors will be standing down and in return for your vote I promise to support the communities of Four Marks, Medstead and Chawton to the best of my ability. I believe its important for everyone to have a good quality of life. I am keen to influence local matters and to represent those that need my support. I've been a Rotarian since 2006 and find it rewarding to be a member of

The East Hants District Council Local Plan consultation - deadline has been extended

We have extended the deadline to take part in our Local Plan consultation until 5pm on Friday 8 March.

Due to a technical fault, access to our online consultation website was interrupted for short periods on Saturday morning, and then again on Monday morning.

Residents were still able to read the plans and comment by email during this period, but due to the outage of the online platform we have decided to extend the consultation period.

From 14 to 23 August, our contractors will be repairing potholes in Central Car Park, Petersfield. They will do what they can to minimise disruption, but as the work will make some spaces unavailable, you may need to use another car park in the town. We apologise for the inconvenience caused.

A disposable barbecue in a recycling bin caused a fire in one of our bin lorries in Clanfield today, causing severe delays to our collection rounds.

The entire 10-tonne collection, almost a full load, had to be tipped and then doused with water to ensure the fire was properly extinguished.

A framework for the administration of East Hampshire District Council has been agreed between Conservatives and Whitehill & Bordon Community Party.

Cllr Richard Millard will continue his six-year Leadership of the council and Cllr Andy Tree (Whitehill & Bordon Community Party) will be the Deputy Leader, with a cabinet portfolio to cover oversight of EHDC matters in the Whitehill & Bordon area.
