Food for Thought

My circadian rhythm isn't the same as yours. (Maybe) so I just threw this together from stuff I got form the phone box tonight (and previously)

What I got tonight- Chicken breasts, punnet of mushrooms.

yesterday -Greek yoghurt,
1 tub of soft cheese (best before 2 days ago) it's cheese how much more cheese could it be?

4 days ago - garlic bread (still good best before)

I added some cheese shavings I had in the fridge and (mistakingly) some peri peri I had in the cupboard. 🥵🥵🥵

Been using phone box stuff to help survive the month but the peri peri was a big mistake (for me)

Total cost £0 (not counting the flour I already had to thicken it up a bit)

Things are moving today at 1.30approx.

It would be really appriciated if some muscle could give some time to help shift everything

Also we're here packing from 10am till then and tidying so feel free to pop in and help clear out the freezer (so its easier to move)

Today we have now made it official now that all those we have been supporting know that we are now closed.

It has been a tremendous journey over the last 6 years and we would like to take this opportunity to thank all our volunteers for their hard work past and present without you all we wouldn't have achieved everything that we have done. Would never have expected us to last this long from a group of volunteers getting together during lockdown in 2020.

From emergency food parcels to Easter bags, D.I.Y lunch packs, holiday events and much much more it all wouldn't have been possibly without the kindness and support of our community who have supported us just as much as we have supported them.

We are reaching out to groups and clubs within and around Alyth to offer our remaining stock and equipment that we would like to see go to local use so please get I'm touch if you or someone you know could make use of what we have.

We will be posting on here times when we will be at the shop to allow for people to come down and get stuff. Times will include evening slots aswell to allow for people who work outside Alyth the opportunity to come along also.

It's been a blast.

So very random bit this was in our phonevox irs been there most of the day we think it might be from one of the halls but if it belongs to anyone then please let us know and we'll get it back to you.

We've got lots of stuff in today so pop down this afternoon and grab yourself a few bargains.

Open from 3.15 till 5.15 today so dont miss out cos once its gone its gone.

Ok so its took about 18 hours, 4 dozen resets, a million cables, 4 very frustrated computer whiz kids, (from across the globe) 1 power cut, multiple beers and some very patient pets but we've finally got the Phone back up and working again.

All good for our fareshare call today so watch this space to see whats arriving tomorrow.
